Senior Big Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Engineer to join our development team. This is a great opportunity for a curious professional to become a key team member and join AIMS in the ambition to become a global leader within the Artificial Intelligence in IT Operations market. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development, operations, scaling, analytics and storage architecture on database technologies with huge amounts of time series data and events for machine learning and NLP (Natural Language Processing).

    • Responsible for development and operations for search technologies such as Elastic.

    Requirements:

    • Experience with SQL and NOSQL databases (ideally one or more of InfluxDB, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL) 

    • Production Experience with one of Java, C# or Scala. Python is a strong bonus.

    • Experience with search technologies such as Elastic

    • Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Apache Flink is a strong bonus

    • Apache Spark knowledge a strong bonus

    • Knowledge of Spark streaming and Delta Lake is an advantage

    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
